RSG Underwriting Managers names new management team following All Risks merger
Ryan Specialty Group has appointmented Nick Cortezi as chairman and chief executive officer of RSG Underwriting Managers, while Matt Nichols becomes president.
Cortezi and Nichols joined RSG with the merger of All Risks in September.
Mike Rice, who currently leads RSG Underwriting Managers, recently announced his intention to retire at the end of the year and has been appointed as senior chairman of RSG Underwriting Managers through year-end.
RSG Underwriting Managers is the managing underwriting division of Ryan Specialty Group and provides centralised governance, shared services, executive leadership and oversight to its specialty underwriting businesses.
Patrick Ryan, founder, chairman and chief executive of RSG said both Cortezi and Nichols have experienced high-teens double digit compounded annual organic growth for the past 20 years. “The programmes that [Cortezi and Nichols] have created are unique, innovative and a win-win for both carrier and client,” he said.
Nichols said: "Combining RSG Underwriting Managers with All Risks programmes creates an even stronger team for assisting our clients with the placement of their insureds."
