Rapciewicz promoted to alternate risk post at Lockton

Peter Rapciewicz has been promoted to the position of executive vice president - alternative risk practice leader at Lockton Companies.

He was previous senior vice president – alternative risk practice leader at Lockton from May 2021 to June of this year. Before that he was senior vice president and director of risk finance at the company from November 2019 to May 2021.

Rapciewicz joined Lockton in 2014 after 14 years at AIG, where he worked in the alternate risk group, first as assistant vice president from 2000 to 2010, then as vice president after that.

He was in charge of oversight and support of the alternative risk division within AIG property Casualty. His responsibilities included oversight and structure of domestic single parent and rent-a-captive facilities, alternative collateral solutions for large deductible casualty insurance programs, the AIG collateral flex option, surplus lines GL/PL insurance programs, loss portfolio transfers and the AIG closeout programs.
