A senior executive at captive manager JLT Insurance Management has relocated to the US to support the growth of the company’s US-based captive insurance business.
Beverley Todd has relocated to Miami, Florida from Bermuda and will serve as a liaison to JLT Re and JLT Speciality, while managing an existing portfolio of Bermuda-based captive clients.
Todd joined JLTIM as a vice president in 2000 and has served as the firm’s senior account executive and team leader, while maintaining and developing client relationships for a portfolio of captive management clients.
Previously, Todd served as vice president for International Risk Management (Bermuda) and vice president and controller for Hopewell International Insurance.
Guy Ragosta, chief executive officer and partner at JLT Insurance Management, said: “We have had the privilege of working closely with Beverley since JLT Towner joined forces with JLTIM, so we’re excited about having her skills and experience at work to continue growing our business stateside. Beverley has strong experience in captive insurance and is well known in the industry, so she is a great addition to our team.”
Todd said: “I look forward to further developing relationships between JLT Towner and the other JLT units. I am also very optimistic about the potential for a continuation of growth in the US, as well as increasing the company’s presence in newer domestic domiciles.”
