SIGMA Actuarial Consulting Group has welcomed the arrival of Allison May (pictured) as a consultant, further expanding its consulting capabilities.
In a statement on LinkedIn SIGMA said: “Allison brings a distinctive combination of expertise to SIGMA, including her CPA and ACI designations, masters in data science and accountancy, regulatory experience, and hands-on captive consulting experience. We are excited to have Allison join our team and look forward to the value she will bring to our clients and to SIGMA’s continued growth.”
May was previously an accounting manager at Davies Insurance Services, which she joined in February 2025.
Prior to that she worked for the Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance, which she joined in August 2018 as a captive insurance analyst. She was promoted to the post of captive insurance examiner in January 2019 and then became an assistant director in April 2021.
She worked for the Tennessee Comptroller of the Treasury for just under five years, first as legislative auditor starting in September 2013 and then as an audit supervisor from July 2017 to August 2018.
