Swiss Re adds Yana to ART/captives team

Marc Yana (pictured) has joined Swiss Re Corporate Solutions as a senior structurer in the alternative risk transfer and captive insurance team.

In a statement on LinkedIn he said: “My career has been focused on this industry and I am excited to continue this journey with such an innovative and market-leading organisation.”

He will be covering the UK/I region as part of the EMEA ART team, working alongside former colleagues Yann Krattiger and Ole Ohlmeyer.

He was previously global head of reinsurance counterparty risk at Allianz Commercial from March 2021 until February 2024, where he led a team of credit experts to steer Ceded Reinsurance exposure within defined credit risk limits and established underwriting guidelines for captive reinsurance cessions, ensured guidelines are shared, understood and adequately implemented in the reinsurance and underwriting practices.

Prior to that he was global reinsurance manager at Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty from April 2018 to March 2021.
