Ten captives have been registered on Bermuda so far this year, according to the latest information from the Bermuda Monetary Authority.
The registration of QFI Risk Solutions (SAC) in October was the latest registration, but the data from November is yet to be released.
So far this year five Class 1 (or single-parent) captives have been registered on the island, all in the period from the end of August to October.
There have also been two Class 2 (multi-owner) captives registered, one Class 3 captive and two Class A insurers, which are captives.
So far this year a total of 43 insurers of all kinds have registered on Bermuda, along with three agents, two managers and five brokers, taking the total number of new registrations to 53.
