EY names captive board member as US corporate sustainability leader
Ernst & Young has named Megan Hobson as its US corporate sustainability leader.
Hobson, who is a member of the board of directors for EY’s captive insurance company, assumes responsibility for leading EY’s US internal environmental and operational business commitments.
She will also continue in her current role as the EY Americas administration leader, in which she is responsible for the US firm's investment and treasury operations, as well as the administrative and workplace services functions.
Hobson is the executive sponsor for the AccessAbilities professional network and chair of the US firm's retirement investment committee. She also sits on the board at Disability:IN, a national non-profit helping businesses drive performance by leveraging disability inclusion in the workplace, supply chain and marketplace.
EY also named Orlan Boston as Americas ESG (environmental, social and governance) markets leader and Velislava Ivanova as Americas chief sustainability officer, as it moves to meet the growing demand for ESG insights from clients.
Boston is charged with helping companies develop and drive comprehensive ESG strategies and identify emerging opportunities in the market.
Ivanova is responsible for advancing EY’s sustainability objectives and initiatives to increase long-term value for clients. She also serves as the EY Americas climate change and sustainability services leader.
