The Vermont Captive Insurance Association (VCIA) has shared more details of its 2025 Strategic Roadmap.
The roadmap was referred to in the VCIA’s 2024 Impact Report, which contained details of what the Association did in 2024 and what it plans to do in the year ahead.
In the first quarter of the year the VCIA said that it will develop initiative plans from each strategic pillar solution team—Advocacy, Community/Member Engagement, and Education.
The quarter also includes a new VCIA brand that exudes VCIA’s best-in-class standing, attracts new stakeholders and illustrates VCIA’s forward-thinking ability to meet the future needs of the captive industry, as well as the launch of a modern, resource-rich new website, that can continually be enhanced.
The second quarter of the year will see the VCIA launch a captive insurance tailored AI assistant on the VCIA website, assess the viability, expense and ROI for each strategic initiative and build out timelines for each initiative’s rollout, and post updates to members.
In the third quarter VCIA could potentially host a VCIA Day around the United States based on member chapters that come from the member/community engagement pillar.
It also intends to plan and execute a ‘memorable’ 40th anniversary celebration as part of VCIA’s 40th Annual Conference, on August 11-13th, 2025, where it will also present the latest strategic updates.
Finally in the fourth quarter (and beyond) the VCIA will continue to rollout strategic initiatives, celebrate the close of VCIA’s 40th anniversary year with strategies for 2026 and beyond and finally assess the impact of initiatives that have been implemented based on key performance indicators.
