Davies starts global audit realignment
Davies is to carry out the global realignment of its audit solutions arms and the establishment of a dedicated international arm.
The strategic move will realign its three, longstanding audit branches throughout the US and Canada: Davies in Florida (previously John Heath and Company, acquired by Davies in 2018), Davies based in Massachusetts (previously Northshore, acquired in 2020), and Davies in Canada (previously AM Associates, acquired in 2018).
The Florida and Massachusetts branches will unite to form the US/Caribbean audit arm, led by managing director Andrew Heath - while the Canadian audit arm will be led by managing director Clive Heath. The firm’s newly formed international arm will extend audit capabilities across the UK, Europe, the Middle East and beyond, led by managing director, Ameet Kaushal - giving clients access to auditing services in regions where these capabilities were not available before, including the UK. Under the new structure, all audit divisions will now sit within the audit solutions team, led by Susan Arsenault, head of audit solutions at Davies.
The new structure will streamline services by providing clients with a sole point of contact, regardless of their geographic footprint. The restructure is also designed to enhance consistency and expand geographical service provision - executed by experienced auditors, who understand local regulatory and cultural nuances.
Arsenault said: “This restructure broadens the range of services our clients can access globally. Our close collaboration with Lloyd’s has been central to shaping these enhancements and ensuring we can deliver a high‑quality service. With a more integrated and responsive audit framework, we’re positioned to provide scalable solutions that support clients’ changing needs around the world.”
According to the company the news is another significant step towards Davies’ Vision 2030 - reinforcing the firm’s commitment to streamlined operational excellence, global integration and enhanced service for its clients.
