MAXIS GBN unveils new business development officer

MAXIS Global Benefits Network (MAXIS GBN) has appointed Jayesh Patel as chief business development officer, subject to regulatory checks. Patel will join MAXIS GBN on 5 May 2026 and sit on the executive committee (ExCom) and report to chief executive Mattieu Rouot. 

In his new role, Patel will oversee MAXIS GBN’s global business development (BD) team, with responsibility for developing and implementing its global BD strategy.  

Patel will join MAXIS GBN from Allianz Commercial, where he has been global head of multinational market practice since 2022, with responsibility for growing its multinational portfolio and market strategy globally. Prior to this he held a number of senior roles at Allianz Global Benefits – having worked with the company for nearly 20 years – including regional director for the UK & Ireland and global head of tender & risk management. He is a qualified associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute and holds an honours degree in Economics from the University of Surrey.

MAXIS’ network of local insurers operate in over 100 markets globally, covering nearly seven million employees worldwide.
