VCIA’s 2024 annual conference opens for registrations
The Vermont Captive Insurance Association (VCIA) has opened registration for its 39th Annual Conference, taking place August 12-14th, at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Burlington, Vermont.
The VCIA said that this year marks ‘significant changes’ in the conference schedule to enhance the attendee experience. VCIA expects to host more than a thousand captive professionals from throughout the US and around the globe.
“The industry at large is exploding with growth, and our conference always keeps pace and meets the needs of those who enter the captive space for the first time, and those who continue to build out their captive knowledge and networks,” said VCIA chief executive Kevin Mead.
According to the VCIA the essential elements to the 2024 VCIA Annual Conference include 18 CPE/CRE/CLE and ICCIE-eligible educational sessions, led by preeminent speakers and covering the latest captive trends/emerging risks, including (but not limited to) cyber and AI, nuclear verdicts, creative uses for captives, and how to successfully form and maintain a captive with evolving regulatory standards.
There will also be 75 exhibitors and the Vermont regulatory team. Attendees will build impactful relationships and find business opportunities at networking lunches, special receptions and the exhibit hall, a sold-out space ripe for client and prospect engagement. Finally there will be the 20th Anniversary ICCIE Celebration Reception, plus the popular exhibitor reception and off-site Hotel Vermont party. #VCIA2024 celebrates where the industry is and where it’s heading.
