Zurich captive veteran joins Swiss Re as consultant

Paul Wohrmann, who left Zurich Insurance as senior alternative risk transfer manager in December, is now a captive consultant with Swiss Re Corporate Solutions. 

Wohrmann was head of captive services for Europe, Middle East, Asia Pacific and Latin American for Zurich from 2011 to May, 2023, and was previously global head of captive services for corporate customers from 2006 to 2011. He has spent 25 years in the captive insurance world. 

Wohrmann will speak on a panel on independent non-executive directors for captives at the Risk-in conference on May 30-31 in Zurich.
