Aon appoints new Australia / New Zealand treaty head

Aon has announced that Paul Grasso has become head of treaty in Australia and New Zealand for reinsurance solutions.

Aon announced that: “Bringing proven expertise to the role, Paul will support clients to optimize their capital as the reinsurance market finds itself on a more sustainable footing.”

Grasso was previously Aon’s head of property in Sydney Australia, a position he started at in October 2017.

Prior to working for Aon Grasso was a treaty underwriter at Hannover Re from April 2016 to September 2017.

Grasso has worked for Aon in the past, as a catastrophe risk analyst at Aon Benfield in London from June 2008 to April 2013 and then as a treaty broker for the company in Sydney from August 2013 to March 2016.
