Bermuda College to hold captive webinar

Bermuda College, in partnership with St. John’s University, and the Association of Bermuda Insurers and Reinsurers (ABIR), has announced details of its course of webinar / lectures for the local community.

This course is foundational to an internship programme sponsored by ABIR which provides eligible students with scholarships to complete their bachelor’s degree at St John’s University.

The college said that its Class 6 on February 20 will be on the topic of captive insurance.

The speakers in the class will be Grianne Richmond, executive vice president - head of captives, Aon and Timae Flood, assistant director, insurance supervision, Bermuda Monetary Authority (BMA).
