Speaking at the Bermuda Captive Conference this week, Bermuda Premier Craig Cannonier, said that he will fight for Bermuda’s captive industry.
Cannonier affirmed the government’s ongoing commitment to the captive sector and said that it will be actively encouraging growth in the private sector. “This administration will listen, not dictate”, said Cannonier.
He added that the work of the captive industry had positioned the Island as a domicile “second to none” internationally, and he thanked the industry for its continued and significant role in the Bermuda economy.
