Hub International bolsters business with the purchase of independent agency

US insurance broker Hub International has bought the assets of independent insurance agency Dwight Andrus & Richard Insurance and Dwight W. Andrus Insurance, and DAI Shreve for an undisclosed sum.

Headquartered in Lafayette, Louisiana, and with six additional locations in the state, Dwight Andrus Insurance is one of the largest independent insurance agencies in the country, with 130 employees. It provides commercial insurance, surety and bonding, captive and alternative risk insurance, as well as personal insurance and employee benefits.
