New managing director at Guy Carpenter

Edward Kelley has been appointed managing director of Guy Carpenter, based out of New York.

Kelley was previously retired, having taken early retirement in January 2023.

He had previously been senior vice president and deputy general counsel and director of government and regulatory affairs at Transatlantic Reinsurance from June 2003 until January 2023.

Prior that that he was vice president and deputy general counsel at AIG in New York from 2003 to 2008, dealing with communication and administration.

He was also regulatory and compliance director MutualAid eXchange (MAX) in Kansas from October 2001 until June 2003.
