WTW to explore lifecycle of captives in webinars
WTW is running two free webinars in the form of panel discussions in June targeting captives owners, which will explore the lifecycle of captives and how owners can optimize the capital behind their captive.
The virtual Captives Owners’ Forum will take place on Thursday, 8 June 2023. The webinars are free-to-attend.
The first session, called ‘Life cycle of a captive insurer’ will provide an overview on how to manage a captive operation day-to-day and offer practical perspectives on captive life cycles, from feasibility and implementation, new risks going into the captive programme through to strategies for surpluses.
That session will feature Peter Carter, head of Captive and Insurance Management Solutions, WTW; Jody Bisson, director, Captive and Insurance Management Solutions, WTW; and Simon Paris, director, Captive and Insurance Management Solutions, WTW.
The second session, called ‘Captive strategic review and freeing up capital to reinvest in new business’ will explores how to optimize the capital behind a captive, what to consider when taking on board more risk, and considerations if a captive has run its course.
That session will feature: Elizabeth Carbonaro, regional director, Western Europe, Captive and Insurance Management Solutions, WTW; Chris Riseborough, SVP - Global Legacy, R&Q Insurance Holdings; and David Stebbing, senior director, Strategic Risk Consulting, WTW.
