Hylant stop loss captive manager moves to MMA

Erich Catzere, Hylant’s medical stop loss captive program manager, has announced he has jumped ship to Marsh McLennan Agency. He has taken up the position of vice president of employee health and benefits at Marsh’s mid-market specialist.

“Joining this innovative and dynamic organization is a terrific move for me professionally and personally,” Catzere wrote in a LinkedIn update. “I have always considered MMA to be a pioneer in the consulting world as well as a leader in benefits, service, and thought leadership.”

MMA provides health, dental and welfare insurance lines as well as business management, plan and benefits management, employment wellbeing support and engagement, compliance and a range of technology suites. It also provides a wide range of healthcare strategies, including stop loss captives.

Catzere was with Hylant, also based in Michigan, for over four years. Before that, he was business development executive at iSelect’s Custom Benefits Store, “Michigan’s first multi-carrier and multi-distributor benefits exchange for mid-sized and small employers”.
