New technical and finance lead for MAXIS
MAXIS Global Benefits Network, the international employee benefits joint venture of MetLife and AXA, has appointed Federico Morosi as chief technical and financial officer, starting in May.
Based in Paris and reporting to CEO Mattieu Rouot, Morosi will oversee MAXIS GBN’s finance, legal, portfolio management and reinsurance and reporting teams. He will also sit on the MAXIS GBN Executive Committee.
Morosi has over 15 years’ experience across engineering, consulting and insurance, most recently as area manager for Argentina, Chile and Portugal with Generali. He spent nine years with the group, including as chief strategy and financial officer at Generali Employee Benefits.
“I’m extremely excited to be joining MAXIS GBN and am looking forward to helping further develop the network’s strong global presence,” said Morosi. “I’m eager to get started and use my experience to drive technical innovation, ensure maximum efficiency and help the business to go from strength to strength.”
Meanwhile, Jérôme Picon, currently head of finance and operations, will be taking on new responsibilities within the AXA Group from July. In the coming months, Picon will help ensure a smooth transition of the teams under his leadership.
Mattieu Rouot, Chief Executive Officer at MAXIS GBN, said: “Firstly, I’d like to say a huge thank you to Jérôme for everything he has delivered for MAXIS over the five years he has been with us. He joined shortly after the formation of the joint venture and has been hugely influential in taking MAXIS to the position we are in today – a leading global benefits network.
“I’m also delighted to be welcoming Federico to the business. His hands-on experience across a variety of functions and teams throughout his career will be hugely beneficial to us, and we are looking forward to having him on board to help deliver our strategy.”
