New captive VP at Navacord

Patrick Ferguson has been appointed vice president, captive & analytics at Navacord.

He is based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Ferguson previously worked for Marsh Canada for just under 18 years. He started at the company in October 2006 as a client team leader, managing a team of qualified accountants providing accounting and insurance services to captive, life insurance and other entities located around the globe.

In December 2018 he was appointed to the post of Canadian captive & global life re/insurance sales leader. He was responsible for growing Marsh Captive Solutions presence in the Canadian market through engaging Canadian clients on the benefits of a captive insurance structure and worked with clients on assessing whether a captive may make sense for them, assisting clients on implementing captives and creating the appropriate ongoing management and governance structure.
