Deadline approaches for VCIA 2024 presentations

Proposals for presentations for the Vermont Captive Insurance Association (VCIA)’s 2024 annual conference must be sent in by the end of today, October 13, the VCIA has announced.

According to the VCIA successful submissions will address the latest issues facing captive insurance, as well as provide concrete takeaways. Content should include a captive owner highlighting personal experiences and real case studies. The VCIA said that it encourages creative ways to engage attendees.

Some of the things that the VCIA is looking for in the 2024 program include:

·  Topics for young professionals

·  Captives 301 advanced level sessions

·  Professional development topics which are relevant to those in the industry

·  Facilitators who are skilled at energising discussions

·  Innovators who are on the cutting edge of the industry; new & diverse speakers (young up-and-comers and/or captive owners who have not yet spoken at VCIA)

·  VCIA is always interested in trying new things - it encourages non-traditional, creative session formats

·  New technologies within the insurance industry that will drive the future of risk management
