GPW appoints new director of captive initiatives

GPW and Associates has announced that Josh Bicknell has joined as the director of captive initiatives, based in Vermont.

In a statement put up on LinkedIn, GPW said: “With his extensive expertise in captive insurance management and consulting, including captive formation, implementation, feasibility, supervision, compliance, and reporting, Josh brings valuable insights to our team.

“He has successfully navigated working in diverse industries, with experience in higher education, healthcare, insurance, manufacturing and distribution, and banking. He has also overseen captives in multiple domiciles and managed various captive types such as risk retention groups, cell structures, single parent captives, and group captives.”

Bicknell was previously an account executive at Hylant from June 2021 to July 2023. Prior to that he was an account executive at WTW from October 2015 to June 2021. He has also worked for Aon and KPMG.
