London & Capital appoints head of institutions

London & Capital, a wealth and asset manager for captives, reinsurers and supranational organisations, has appointed Kate Miller as head of institutions.

Based in London, Miller will help to build London & Capital's institutional business, and will report to William Dalziel, partner.

Miller joins from institutional consultant P-Solve, where she served as a director. Here she was involved with setting investment strategy and objectives, strategic asset allocation, conducting manager and fund searches and managing risk on behalf of her clients.

Prior to P-Solve, she served as a consultant and chief operating officer at Meridian Investment Consultancy, advising general captive, mutual, and offshore insurance clients.

“Kate’s background, which combines several years’ experience as an investment manager and over a decade as a consultant, selecting investment managers for Insurance Company clients, makes her uniquely suited to continue to strategically develop and grow our institutional business. She is well known in the UK insurance asset management field for her high standards, and her commitment to her clients’ interests. I am delighted that we have found someone of Kate’s calibre to take the team forward,” said Dalziel.

Miller added: “I am proud to join London & Capital and build on the growth the Institutional business has achieved over the past ten years. London & Capital has gained a strong reputation for its service-orientated approach, blending excellent client service with a differentiated approach to investment. I look forward to enhancing our existing client relationships as well as identifying further opportunities for growth."
