HUB International appoints new captive specialist
Lori Ross (pictured) has announced that she has joined HUB International as a captive specialist for Central and Northern California.
In this role, she will focus on what she described as two key initiatives:
• Supporting the continued growth of Ascend Group Captive, which provides specialized resources to the vegetation management and tree care industry that help improve safety, reduce insurance costs, and create a competitive advantage.
• Partnering with HUB producers to provide the expertise, resources, and solutions needed to deliver best-in-class captive and alternative risk strategies for our clients.
Prior to her move she had a role in strategic partnerships and marketing at Beyond Risk from March 2025 to July 2026.
Before that she was marketing director at York Alternative Risk Solutions from March 2015 until Feb 2025, based in Lafayette, Louisiana, where she provided marketing support for current and prospective captive insurance programs.
