Erdman joins Lockton as captive consultant
Caroline Erdman (pictured) has joined Lockton's Alternative Risk Solutions Practice as a consultant.
In a statement on LinkedIn Ashleigh Sears, head of alternative risk North America practice leader at Lockton said: “Caroline brings experience in captive consulting and risk financing. In her role, she will support feasibility studies, captive program design, governance, and strategic risk financing initiatives while partnering closely with clients to evaluate and implement alternative risk and risk financing strategies.
“We're excited to have Caroline on the team and look forward to the expertise she will bring to our clients.”
Erdman was previously at Hylant, which she joined as a captive account manager in June 2023. She was promoted to captive consultant in November of the same year.
Prior to that she worked at the South Carolina Department of Insurance, first as a part-time finance intern in 2021, before taking up a two-year internship from 2021 to 2023.
Erdman was one of Captive International’s FORTY Under 40 finalists in 2025.
