PARIMA: Sydney event highlighted captive benefits

The Pan-Asia Risk and Insurance Management Association (PARIMA) has announced that its first PARIMA Sydney event on 12 March was ‘an absolute triumph’.

The risk management association praised the participation of Shiwei Jin of AXA XL, Juliet Kwek of MAXIS Global Benefits Network, Neil Robinson of MetLife Australia, and PARIMA Board Member from Australia, Rehana Box of Ashurst, for what it said was successful collaboration and knowledge-sharing at the event.

“Their insights were truly enlightening, sparking lively and engaging discussions,” PARIMA said in a statement on LinkedIn.

According to PARIMA captives as a risk transfer vehicle garnered significant interest throughout the session, highlighting an area that Australian multinationals and brokers have not given enough focus to.

Moreover, the opportunity to explore employee benefits via a captive emerged as a promising avenue for risk managers and HR professionals to collaborate and drive better outcomes for their organisations, PARIMA stated.
