Zurich appoints new global head of captives
Zurich has announced that Emma Sansom has been appointed as global head of captives, effective as of January 1, 2023.
She will be based in Zurich, the company said in a statement sent to Captive International.
Sansom will succeed Paul Wöhrmann, who has been appointed senior alternative risk transfer manager.
Sansom has been leading the Captives team in the UK since 2017. According to Zurich over the past 20 years she has held senior underwriting and market-facing roles within the company and brings extensive captive knowledge and strong customer insight to her new role.
