Risk Partners taps Hylant to boost business development

Captive specialist Risk Partners has appointed former Hylant captive manager Julia Schroeck  to be manager of captive business development. 

Schroeck, who took up the role this month, was named as one of Captive International's Forty Under 40 awardees in June. 

Schroeck joined Risk Partners, which specialises in insurance solutions for fleet management, after spending two years as a senior captive account manager at Hylant. 

Now based in Charlotte, North Carolina, she previously spent five years as an account manager at Strategic Risk Solutions in Charleston, South Carolina.  

A CPA, she worked as an accountant in her hometown of Erie, Pennsylvania before entering the captive insurance industry. 

She is a graduate of Penn State Erie and holds an MBA from Southern New Hampshire University.  

When she was selected as an honouree for Forty Under 40, she said on LinkedIn: "Congratulations to my fellow honourees! Your dedication and excellence set a high standard in our industry.

"I'm proud to celebrate our collective achievements. Here's to continued success and innovation in captive insurance."
