SRS Altitude appoints Sullivan to lead US expansion
SRS Altitude, the managing general underwriter (MGU) specialising in alternative risk transfer (ART) solutions within Strategic Risk Solutions (SRS), has appointed Joe Sullivan (pictured) as head of ART for North America. Sullivan joined the firm on 2 November to support the continued growth of its North American ART business.
Based in New Jersey, Sullivan brings proven experience in ART and a deep expertise in captive insurance. He previously served as deputy regional head of ART, Americas at Allianz Commercial, where he combined technical underwriting knowledge with commercial leadership to develop ART solutions across property, casualty, and specialties. His background includes leading complex multi-year, multi-line risk transfer and risk financing solutions.
“Demand for ART and captive solutions in North America is accelerating, and we are moving decisively to meet it,” said Loredana Mazzoleni Neglén, CEO, SRS Altitude. “With Joe on board, we bring our ART underwriting expertise closer to clients and broker partners throughout the region.”
Sullivan will work with broker partners, corporate clients, and captive owners to develop tailored risk transfer and risk financing solutions that address their evolving risk management needs.
“Joe is a great addition to lead the alternative risk transfer expansion in North America,” said Brady Young, chief executive of Strategic Risk Solutions. “We've built a strong business around captive management and consulting, and Joe's experience will help us meet a broader range of client needs as organizations explore more sophisticated risk transfer strategies.”
