SCCIA appeals for award nominations
The South Carolina Captive Insurance Association is accepting nominations for the SCCIA Annual Awards.
The awards will be at the SCCIA’s annual executive educational conference, which will take place in Charleston, South Carolina on September 17-19 this year.
The two awards are:
Captive Person of the Year
The Captive Person of the Year award recognizes an individual for their outstanding leadership and accomplishments on behalf of the association and captive insurance industry in South Carolina. (This was referred to as SCCIA’s Palmetto Captive Award recognizing a person who has shown exemplary efforts within the captive industry and South Carolina as the leading domicile.)
SCCIA Award of Merit
The Award of Merit was created in 2017 to recognize those who made significant contributions to the captive insurance industry during the year.
