ACE launches Asia-Pacific unit for captives
Insurer ACE has launched an Asia-Pacific unit aimed at providing customised products and services to captive insurers and multinational clients.
ACE said the launch was in response to increasing demand from corporate customers to deliver bespoke risk transfer and risk managed solutions.
Peter Kuczer, who currently serves as global client executive in Asia-Pacific, will lead the new unit.
Kuczer will be responsible for setting the strategic direction and execution of business plan and will report to Paul McNamee, deputy president, Asia-Pacific and regional head of property and casualty.
McNamee said: “This appointment acknowledges and builds upon Peter’s accomplishments, leadership, and proven success in working with regional brokers and clients, to help them better navigate the diverse range of products and services offered by ACE’s global accounts division.
“Complex multinational and captive fronted programmes are of particular interest to ACE as we continue to invest in our multinational capabilities. The establishment of the centralised unit to supplement our existing operations will further enhance our leadership presence in this growing and sophisticated market.”
