Aon publishes captive eBook

Insurance firm Aon has released a free new captives eBook, aimed at helping firms decide whether they need a captive.

The guide also explains why organisations are increasingly investing in captives and discovering different ways to structure captives.

Also explained in Introduction to Captives, is how to go about sourcing services that will be required when setting up a captive and what is involved in the process of setting one up.

The guide mentions that captive insurance can help organisations lower their total cost of risk. It also particularly highlights the use of captives in the Asian insurance sector, noting the fact that the number of captive owners in the Asia-Pacific region increased from 17 percent in 2013, to 23 percent in 2015, according to Aon’s 2015 Global Risk Management Survey.

The guide is free to download here.
