Delaware Captive Insurance Association to hold 2015 Fall Forum


The Delaware Captive Insurance Association (DCIA) has announced its 2015 Fall Forum will take place in November,

The event, which will be held at the Chase Center, on the Riverfront in Wilmington, Delaware, will run over two days from 11-12 November.

Those in the captive industry will be able to have scheduled appointments with regulators are the forum, as well as attend a number of talks.

Speakers at the event include James Bulkowski, senior manager, Ernst & Young; Steven Miller, national director of tax, alliantgroup; Carol Frey, business development manager, Great American Insurance Group, Ryan Work, senior director, government relations, Software and Information Industry Association (SIIA); and Steve Kinion, director, bureau of captive and financial insurance products, Delaware Insurance Department.

Topics at the forum include the pros and cons of captive cyber liability insurance, defences against insurance risk solutions (IRS) attacks, innovative uses of captives to insure reputational risks and the evolution of group captives.
