Katherine Keefe joins Marsh to strengthen US cyber offering

Marsh has appointed Katherine Keefe as US cyber incident management leader.

Keefe joins Marsh from Beazley where she served as head of breach response services for the last eight years. Before getting into insurance she was a lawyer specialising in all aspects of health care law, including health care data privacy and security.

In her new role Keefe is responsible for leading Marsh’s efforts to assist clients responding to and managing cyber events, including data breaches and ransomware attacks. She advises clients on pre and post cyber incident management and oversees relationships with the broader cyber incident management marketplace.

She is based in Philadelphia and reports to Tom Reagan, US cyber practice leader.

Reagan said: “In the wake of the global pandemic, organsations are looking for strategies and solutions to help mitigate the threat of cyber-attacks, which are intensifying in both frequency and severity.”
