SIGMA CEO passes away

SIGMA Actuarial Consulting has announced that Timothy Coomer, the chief executive of the company, has passed away.

The company said that Coomer died after a 2-year battle with Synovial Sarcoma, a form of cancer, on Wednesday, May 4th.

SIGMA said in a statement that: “Tim’s legacy will be remembered as an honourable leader and entrepreneur, but more importantly as a gracious husband, father, and friend. We will provide additional information regarding Tim's passing in the coming days.”

Coomer cofounded SIGMA Actuarial Consulting in 1995 and served as chief executive since the start-up. Coomer worked on helping SIGMA expand through the utilisation of effective business and marketing strategies.

According to SIGMA Coomer was a private pilot, traveled extensively and enjoyed combining his love of aviation and flying with the need to reach out to meet clients face-to-face.
