TDK creates captive in Luxembourg

Electronics components manufacturer TDK has become the first Japanese firm to establish a captive in Luxembourg.

Strategic Risk Solutions revealed the news through their LinkedIn channel, where it also referenced TDK as being its first Japan-based captive management client.

Hiroaki Ishida is TDK’s head of global risk management, and also the captive director of the new reinsurance captive, TDK Global Reinsurance.

TDK Global Reinsurance has a registered address of 20, rue de l’Industrie 8399 Windhof in Luxembourg and its registry filings were first published on 24 December 2024.
