VCIA launches Philadelphia chapter with educational event

The Vermont Captive Insurance Association (VCIA) will launch a new chapter in Philadelphia chapter with a half-day educational summit and networking reception on 15 April 2026.

The event, set to takes place at the EY offices, will bring together captive owners, risk management professionals, and service providers alongside Vermont’s regulatory leadership.

VCIA said that the summit features intensive, credit-eligible educational sessions highlighting the regulatory landscape of Vermont, currently the leading domicile for captive insurance in the US.

The educational component is divided into two parts. The first, which is called ‘Captives at Work: Success Stories from the Front Line’, will focus on the reasons for formation, the feasibility process, and the evolution of successful captive programmes.

The second session, called ‘Navigating the Regulatory Landscape: Key Insights’, features a conversation with Vermont’s regulatory leadership to contextualise domicile strategy and regulatory considerations.
