WRCIC donates to ICCIE

The Western Region Captive Insurance Conference (WRCIC) Board presented a donation to the International Center for Captive Insurance Education (ICCIE) during the ICCIE 20th anniversary celebration in Burlington, Vermont, at the Vermont Captive Insurance Association’s annual conference last week.

WRCIC board members Renea Louie and Heather McClure presented the donation to Mitch Cantor, executive director of ICCIE, on behalf of the WRCIC 2024 conference attendees and board members. 

According to WRCIC the contribution marks a continuation of the conference’s commitment to excellence in captive education, with donations over the years totalling more than $10,000.

“ICCIE is incredibly grateful for the consistent and continued support from WRCIC.  The western region domiciles understand that the captive industry can only grow and thrive when there is comprehensive education available to new entrants to the industry and continuing education for captive veterans,” said Cantor. “This is how ICCIE supports the industry, and that is why it is vital that the industry continues to support ICCIE!  It’s a terrific synergistic relationship.”

Looking ahead, the WRCIC announced that the 2025 conference will be held in Salt Lake City, Utah, from May 19-21, at the Salt Lake Marriott Downtown at City Creek.
