AMRAE director promoted at Sonepar

François Beaume has been promoted to the position of senior vice president, risks and insurance, at Sonepar in the city of Paris.

He joined the company as vice president – risks & insurance in January 2019.

Prior to that he worked for Bureau Veritas from August 2014 to January 2019, first as deputy group risk manager and insurance director, then as director, risk and insurance and finally as vice president, risk and insurance.

Beaume has also worked for risk management association AMRAE - Association pour le Management des Risques et des Assurances de l’Entreprise – for sixteen years, starting in 2007. He is now a member of AMRAE’s board of directors and has been its vice president scientifique since September 2023.
