EY captive specialist relocates to Cayman in expanded role

James Bulkowski, senior manager at EY, will be relocating to the Cayman Islands from the US, effective July 9, and assuming an expanded role at the firm.

In this new role, Bulkowski will help to further expand EY's strategic captive insurance network expansion and commitment to the BBC market (Bahamas, Bermuda, British Virgin Islands and Cayman Islands).

Although Bulkowski will be based in Cayman, he will continue his captive insurance role in the US.

Bulkowski has over 20 years of experience, and currently serves as senior manager in the insurance and actuarial advisory services practice of EY's financial services offices. He specialises in property and casualty consulting, with a focus on captive insurers.

Prior to EY, he served as senior vice president at Aon, where he specialised in large account relationship management, brokerage, and alternative risk transfer vehicles.
