Maire Tecnimont announces new risk & insurance head

Carlo Cosimi is the new group head of risk and insurance at Maire Tecnimont, after being appointed to the post in February.

The position includes reviewing risk & opportunity at the group level with an integrated management of ERM, project risk management and risk transfer processes.

He will continue to be executive chairman and president of ANRA, the Italian Association of Risk Managers and Insurance Managers, which he was appointed to in April 2021. ANRA is part of the FERMA (European Federation of Risk Managers).

Cosimi was previously the head of corporate insurance & risk financing at Saipem from October 2016 to January 2023, where he supervised the definition of Saipem insurance policies and of the related guidelines, methodologies, tools, operative processes and standard contracts, guaranteeing the worldwide steering and coordination of insurance process over subsidiaries.
