PMA Companies appoints Christopher Sullivan as VP

PMA Companies has announced that Christopher Sullivan has joined the company as vice president, commercial product management. 

In a statement on LinkedIn the company said: “Christopher is an innovative cross-functional insurance leader who previously led strategic initiatives in commercial property, specialty, and surplus line development for a national carrier. He brings more than 35 years of industry expertise to PMA, where he will drive the development and execution of our commercial insurance products, ensuring alignment with our business objectives and passion for delivering exceptional value to our clients and business partners. We are thrilled to have Christopher on our product management leadership team and look forward to succeeding, together!”

Sullivan was previously at Travelers for 21 years, starting as second vice president - property claims department lead in June 2004 at the Discover Re Business Unit of Travelers in Farmington, Connecticut. In 2009 he became second vice president - property claims department lead & TPA management

From October 2011 to July 2025 Sullivan was second VP - business insurance property/boiler & machinery/surplus lines product development lead, based in Greater Hartford, Connecticut.

Before working for Travelers he was a unit manager - property claims at Chubb Insurance from February 1996 to May 2004 in New York.
