Artex veteran Chad Kunkel (pictured) has joined Christian Brothers Services as managing director of risk management services.
Kunkel, who spent 27 years at Artex, culminating as executive vice president for group captives North America, said he is leading a “dynamic team” at Christian Brother Services, which develops and administers property/casualty services exclusively for the “unique and evolving exposures of Catholic organisations”. He joined CBS this month.
He said: “Innovative risk management solutions can significantly reduce exposure and safeguard the financial stability of a ministry.
“With a rich history dating back to 1979, Christian Brothers Services has been at the forefront of developing and administering property/casualty programmes exclusively tailored for the unique and evolving exposures of Catholic organisations.
“In my role, I lead a dynamic team focused on the strategic development and enhancement of property/casualty programmes to ensure they align with the ever-changing risk landscape faced by Catholic organisations, fostering collaborative efforts to create tailored risk management strategies for our members.”
At Artex, Kunkel was EVP group captives for seven years and was also division EVP captive services from 2013 until he left this month.
Previously, he was senior vice president and strategy leader from 2010 to 2013 and a captive analyst from 1996 to 2010.
