Carnovis Specialty appoints new ART accounting head

Alasdair Pennycuick has joined Carnovis Specialty as head of ART accounting.

In this role, Pennycuick will lead transaction-specific accounting for alternative risk transfer structures, working closely with finance teams across The Fidelis Partnership and Fidelis Insurance Group, as well as external auditors, alongside overseeing portfolio-level reporting.

He brings 12 years’ experience from Allianz, with roles spanning London, Zurich, New York and Munich, and a broad background across finance, transaction accounting and deal services for international ART transactions. 

According to the company his appointment strengthens Carnovis’ financial and reporting capabilities as the business continues to scale its alternative risk solutions.

Pine Walk Capital, the specialist MGA platform and wholly owned subsidiary of The Fidelis Partnership launched Carnovis Specialty, a new alternative risk transfer MGA, last year.
