ICCIE call for registrations for webinar at Cayman Captive Forum

The International Center for Captive Insurance Education (ICCIE) has issued a reminder to members of the captive insurance community to register for its upcoming Hot Topic Webinar, which will be live from the 2024 Cayman Captive Forum.

The webinar is titled “Insurance Provisions – Considerations When Selecting Your Recorded Reserve,” and will be on Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at 4 p.m. – 4:55 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. 

The webinar’s presenters include Scott Anderson of Actuarial Advisors, Rob Gilligan of Innovative Captive Strategies and Adam McSharry-Downie from KPMG.

According to ICCIE the webinar will include detail on interpreting the figures presented in an actuary report and the terminology used, particularly around risk margins or confidence levels – what they mean and how they vary from entity to entity and from year to year. These concepts will then be discussed in the context of financial reporting and what the accounting requirements ask, along with the perspective of a captive consultant on what they see and hear from their clients. 

The registration deadline is Monday, December 2, 2024.
