BMS taps Tysers for new director in financial lines

Independent specialist insurance and reinsurance broker BMS has appointed Elizabeth Robinson as a director in financial lines. Starting in July, Robinson will be based in London and report to Chris Madell, managing director of financial and professional lines. She will be responsible for managing BMS’ North American wholesale financial lines strategy.

Robinson joins BMS from broker Tysers, where she spent more than five years, most recently as director of North American executive and financial risks. She managed the company’s growing team and portfolio in directors and officers and financial institutions, primarily in North America and Europe.

She has worked within the insurance industry for over 12 years, beginning her career as a financial lines underwriter at AIG in 2009. She has held a broad range of senior roles in broking and underwriting, including at AXA and independent brokers.
