Marsh veteran rejoins to lead RE&H practice
Marsh has announced that Duncan Ellis will rejoin the company on September 24, 2024, and lead its US and Canada real estate & hospitality (RE&H) practice, effective December 1.
Ellis spent 27 years at Marsh, the last 10 of which he served as US property practice and alternative risk transfer leader, before joining AIG as head of retail property, North America General Insurance in 2019. He was named AIG’s North American head of retail distribution in 2024. Ellis will work closely with Paul Foye, current RE&H Practice Leader, on the leadership transition.
Ellis will be responsible for leading a team of industry specialists in delivering innovative risk solutions and insights to Marsh’s clients throughout the region. He will be based in New York and report to Darren Cromwell, managing director and Marsh & Mercer industry practices leader, US & Canada.
