Details released on 2023 Asian Captive Conference

The Labuan International Business and Financial Centre (IBFC) has unveiled details of two breakout sessions at the upcoming Asian Captive Conference.

The first is entitled: “Everything You Need to Know about Captive - The Fundamentals: Presentation – Captive 101” and includes ‘why do companies form captives’, ‘key considerations: What is a captive and what are the related opportunities?’ and ‘Panel Discussion: Captive 101’, which looks at the journey of a new captive owner and the role of the captive manager.

The second is entitled: “Set-up Completed, so What's Next?” and will have a presentation on advanced captive knowledge that includes what are the key factors for the long-term success of a captive and what is the uniqueness of cells and how can they be used? There will also be a panel discussion on advanced captive administration that includes captive governance and how captives are used during a hard market.

The Asian Captive Conference will be returning for its sixth year as an in-person event on Thursday, 7 September 2023 at the Sime Darby Convention Centre, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from 9.00am to 5.30pm.
