IMAC searches for chief executive

The Insurance Managers Association of Cayman (IMAC) has announced that it is looking for a chief executive for the organisation.

According to association the search will result in changes to the existing IMAC leadership role as IMAC moves away from the concept of a general manager to that of a person with the ability to assist the organisation and its membership to grow.

IMAC is therefore looking for someone with extensive Cayman captive industry experience, ideally in a business development role.

William Forsythe is the current general manager of IMAC and is stepping down from the position in the next year to retire.

According to the IMAC job advert for the chief executive position: “The chief executive of IMAC will be required to provide support to the IMAC Executive and sub-committees in furtherance of their objectives, while also acting as an industry spokesperson to help attract insurance business to the Cayman Islands. The chief executive will report to the IMAC Executive via a designated sub- committee and will act as a vital link between the industry, government and the regulator in the Cayman Islands.”

For more information contact IMAC.
